Aston Villa have announced the release of Oyvind Nyland from his contract.
Nyland has left the club after agreeing a mutual termination of his contract.
The Norwegian goalkeeper signed in August 2018 from Ingolstadt and would go on to make 36 appearances in all competitions for the club.
Last season, his displays helped Villa reach the Carabao Cup final, where he was handed a starting berth at Wembley against Manchester City.
This term, he made just one appearance, in the Carabao Cup against Burton Albion.
