Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud was offered to Barcelona in the final days of the market, it has been revealed.
Esport3 reports the 33 year-old was offered to Barca for a fee of €5m - and the Catalans were keen.
However, with the focus on attempting to close a deal with Lyon for Memphis Depay, Barca decided to pass on Giroud.
In the end, neither player arrived as Barca saw the deadline fall last night with no new No9 signed.
Giroud is yet to see action for Chelsea in the Premier League this season.
