Newcastle United signing Rodrigo Vilca believes he has made the right choice to join the club.
Vilca is a Peruvian youngster who is the club's sixth signing of the summer.
He arrived on deadline day and signed a four year deal from Deportivo Municipal.
It was a cut price move, with the Magpies paying roughly £250,000 for the player.
Vilca told the club's website: "Since I have arrived, I have received a warm welcome.
"I feel very comfortable and I feel I have taken the right decision. It is everything that I expected.
"I'm very happy. I know a lot of information about the club because it is a club that, for sure, receives a lot of exposure in Peru. I know about the club, I know it's a historic club, so that made it easier to take the decision.
"I'm very happy to be here, and now I'm willing to prove myself immediately and make this opportunity a successful one."
