Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has taken a swipe at Barcelona.
After beating Standard Liege 3-0 in their Europa League clash, Mehdi Carcela declared Benfica as candidates for the title.
"Jorge Jesús likes to have the ball very much. In the first half we had very little possession. With Pizzi and Taraabt, Benfica looks like Barça," said the former Granada player.
At a press conference, Jorge Jesús responded by criticising Barça.
"I will not say that we resemble Barça. The one from a few years ago yes, but the one from now has nothing," he said. "I don't want us to look like Barça now, but I wouldn't mind the one from years ago..."
