Brentford attacker Said Benrahma risks pricing himself out of a move to the Premier League.
The Sun says the winger was expected to leave Brentford after the club failed to gain promotion to the Premier League but he is yet to seal a move, despite strong interest from Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Benrahma wants a five-year contract and his £60,000-a-week wage demands plus extras, in addition to a transfer fee of £20m, is proving too costly for his admirers.
The 25-year-old scored 17 goals in 46 games last season, including two league hat-tricks.
Palace have led the race for the winger for much of the summer but the overall cost of the transfer has prevented the club from completing a deal.
