Manchester United and Liverpool are already circling around Dayot Upamecano.
The 21-year-old defender signed a new contract with RB Leipzig until 2023 after clubs decided against activating a £54million release in his previous contract.
However, German outlet Bild (via Metro) has claimed Upamecano's new deal includes a new release clause which will activate next summer.
And in good news for United and Liverpool, they will be able to sign the Frenchman for just £36.5m.
Upamecano is one of the most exciting defenders in world football, impressing on the biggest stage with Leipzig in the Champions League last season.
Manchester City have also been linked, but they have just signed centre-backs Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake.
Leipzig have already prepared for life without Upamecano after they signed Josko Gvardiol from Dinamo Zagreb.
