BEAUFORT: All business premises, here, except those in food and beverage, are required to temporarily cease operations starting Oct 15. A Beaufort District Council spokesperson verified the directive, following a letter of instruction from the State Local Government and Housing Ministry in efforts to curb community Covid-19 transmission. Restaurants are not allowed to open for dine-ins and will only be allowed to offer take-away foods.
