Leicester City passed on Manchester United signing Alex Telles earlier this summer, it has been revealed.
The Athletic reports the Porto full-back signed in a deal worth around £13.5m, but had the chance to seal a Premier League move earlier in the summer.
Leicester City were offered the Brazil international, instead opting to sign Timothy Castagne.
The Belgium international joined the Foxes from Italian high flyers Atalanta.
Castagne has kicked off the season superbly and already has a first goal for his new club.
