Manchester City youngster Eric Garcia is demanding a January move to Barcelona.
The young centre-back has shown no interest in signing a new contract, and his deal expires next summer.
Garcia could leave on a free when this season concludes, and Fabrizio Romano reports the player will talk to City to seal a January exit.
He hopes City's desire to secure a small fee will convince them to sell in the January window, rather than losing him on a free in June.
Garcia is only 19 and was a starter for Pep Guardiola's team by the end of last season.
He is slightly down in the pecking order since the arrivals of Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias.
