Disinfection exercise in Tg Aru,  Sembulan

Kota Kinabalu: Parts of Tanjung Aru and Sembulan here will undergo a disinfection exercise today (Friday), starting at 4pm.

Tanjung Aru Assemblyman Datuk Junz Wong (pic), who announced this Thursday, said the exercise is expected to take about three hours to complete.

“The areas that will be disinfected are Tanjung Aru town and the Apiwon/Anak Mami row of shops in Sembulan,” said the Warisan Vice President who also apologised for the inconvenience to be caused by the exercise, but stressed that it is done for the greater good.

“My apologies in advance to those affected, especially the hawkers whose business will be affected. But this initiative is taken to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission,” he said.
