Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Lawn Bowls Association (SLBA) has postponed naming their final Sukma squad for the Johor Games until November following the implementation of Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) recently.

Its President Datuk Ladislaus Maluda (pic) said they are supposed to name the 12-member squad at the end of this month but unable to do so due to the interruption of their training programme as a result of CMCO where all outdoor and sports activities are not allowed.

“We are unable to name the athletes to represent the state for the Sukma Games at the end of the month as all Sabah Sports Board sports facilities have been temporarily closed to the public due to the CMCO being enforced. As a result, we have no choice but to suspend our Sukma training programme for now.
