Riqui Puig is confident he'll get his chance at Barcelona this season.
The midfielder refused suggestions from management to move away on-loan before Monday's transfer deadline.
Instead, Puig is now set to flit between the B and first team this first-half of the season, but insists he is confident he'll get a chance under coach Ronald Koeman.
"I think I will have minutes at Barça, otherwise I would not have stayed," said Puig. "I want to succeed and earn a position, I don't see any other way.
"I'm very happy in Barcelona, I have my family, I think I'm going to end up playing and have opportunities.
“The conversation with the coach was not hard, no. Koeman trusts me, and he will give me opportunities to succeed at this great club. Sometimes things that are not true are filtered, or are taken from sites that do not quite tell the whole truth.
"Koeman already made some statements and he said what he told me, that he trusted me, that I would have minutes."
