Fenerbahce president Ali Koc admits they missed out on Chelsea defender Malang Sarr in the final days of the summer market.
Signed on a free transfer from Nice, Chelsea chose to send Sarr away on-loan for the season.
Koc admits Fener were keen, but were beaten to the punch by Porto.
"He (Sarr) was the only player intended by the club that was not signed," lamented Koc.
Key to the defender's choice was Porto's Champions League participation this season.
