Bank Islam employee positive, Karamunsing branch closed

Kota Kinabalu: A Bank Islam employee has been found positive for Covid-19, forcing the bank to close its branch and self-service terminals in Karamunsing, here, for sanitisation until further notice, said a statement.

The bank followed other several other businesses that had to shut down temporarily after discovering their employees were positive for the novel coronavirus.

Among them were Tong Hing supermarket and Bank Simpanan Nasional in Kota Kinabalu as well as Mydin hypermarket in Sandakan.
