Real Madrid are willing to sell strikers Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic in January.

The Daily Mail says they may free up funds to allow Madrid to invest but that appears unlikely.

The former has scored just two goals since joining from Eintracht Frankfurt last year, and reportedly faces six months in jail in Serbia for breaching coronavirus rules.

Diaz, meanwhile, has also endured a nightmare spell in the Spanish capital. After progressing through the club's youth system, and moving to Lyon for a season, Diaz has scored just four goals since returning in 2018.

Zinedine Zidane's side have struggled for points during the early stages of the new season, having fallen to defeats to new boys Cadiz and Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
