Barcelona captain Lionel Messi is prepared to leave the Nou Camp before January's presidential elections.
The election date is set for January 24 and Messi could push to leave before Barca fans know their new president.
That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito.
Manchester City are preparing a £50m offer to be tabled in January for Messi, who is off contract in June.
"One of the possibilities that Messi is considering is to leave before the Barcelona elections, which are in January," Inda revealed.
"He can go wherever he wants, because he can put his name forward and name the cheque that he wants."
