2,000 entrepreneurs to market products via virtual platform

Kota Kinabalu: Some 2,000 entrepreneurs under the Sabah Economic Development Corporation (Sedco) will benefit from a virtual platform to market their products.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam (pic) who is also Industrial Development Minister said these entrepreneurs are expected to use the platform within the next three to five years.

“Sedcovest is working with a local online business application developer to market and conduct transactions for local products through a virtual platform similar to Lazada and Shopee,” he said in a statement on Thursday.
