S’kan folks advised to disregard messages

SANDAKAN: The community here is advised not to believe in messages circulated on social media which tries to influence them from going for Covid-19 screening. 

Sandakan Area Health Officer Dr Johari Awang Besar urge them not to be influenced by audio and video messages sent via WhatsApp to distort their thoughts about Covid-19 screening. 

In a statement, Thursday, he urged them to continue to cooperate with health workers who carry out preventive control duties, especially during the Covid-19 sampling screening activities held in selected localities.
