Barcelona's interim board has denied reports of sacking Carles Rexach.
It was claimed on Monday that it had been decided to dump Rexach by the temporary board.
The former Barca player, coach and sporting director had acted as adviser to Josep Maria Bartomeu before the president's resignation.
However, members of the transition team contacted AS to deny the claims.
Instead, the source has insisted Rexach's contract will expire in December and it's been agreed to offer him a new deal. Indeed, it's suggested the new agreement only lacks Rexach's signature.
