One-third capacity only for green, yellow zones: B’fort mosque

BEAUFORT: Only one-third of the prayer hall capacity is allowed for Muslims wishing to perform congregational Friday prayers in Green and Yellow Zones. 

A spokesperson for the Beaufort District Town Mosque said the conditions issued by the Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (Jheains) is in effect from Nov 12 to Nov 24. 

“Jheains agreed to allow the implementation of activities in mosques and all surau throughout the State during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) effective Nov 12.
