Jannie urges State Govt to strengthen women’s role as policymakers

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah DAP Wanita Chief, Jannie Lasimbang (pic), urged the State Government to strengthen the role of women in all sectors, including as policymakers.

She said the State Government should strive to achieve the target of appointing 30 per cent of the group at various levels of administration and government sector.

She stressed that the involvement of women in the administration should be emphasised because these groups are able to drive the development and progress of the country.
