Cruz Azul midfielder Guillermo Pol Fernández is a target for Celta Vigo.
Currently on-loan wiht Boca Juniors, Fernandez is expected to return to Cruz Azul with the Argentine giants unlikely to push to buy him outright.
However, Celta are now in contact, with new coach Eduardo Coudet eager to bring Fernandez to Spain in January.
The problem for Celta is their limited finances, which could mean Cruz Azul agreeing to a new loan to help negotiations along.
Coudet knows all about Fernandez having coached him at Racing.
