Marine police seize three pump boats, 18kg bombed fish in Semporna

SEMPORNA: Marine Police here seized three pump boats and 18kg of fish believed caught using explosives during an operation off Pulau Manampilik, at about 11.30am on Tuesday.

Semporna Marine Operations Headquarters Commanding Officer DSP Mohammad Ismail said all three skippers escaped the moment they realised police were approaching them.

“Upon inspection, police discovered various types of blasted fishes in all three pump boats weighing eight kilograms in one boat, and five kilograms in each of the other two boats.
