LUMADAN: The Public Works Department (PWD) here was urged to upgrade a 100-meter gravel road stretch along a hilly area in Kg Karangan here as it poses safety concerns to road users.

Lumadan Assemblyman Ruslan Muharam said the road should be asphalted as it is slippery during rainy season which puts village residents in danger.

He said when the unpaved uphill section becomes slippery, it makes it difficult for any vehicle to travel uphill.
