Two injured in 3-vehicle crash in S’kan

SANDAKAN: Two men, aged 46 and 37 respectively, sustained injuries in a three-vehicle accident near SK Sung Siew, Indah Jaya, here on Thursday.

The vehicles involved were a Perodua Axia, Perodua Bezza and a taxi. The 63-year-old taxi driver escaped unscathed.

Sandakan Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Jimmy Lagung, said nine firefighters led by Bernardinus Jacob rushed to the scene following a 10.27am distress call via MERS999. The fire and rescue’s Emergency Medical Rescue Services sent the injured persons to the Duchess of Kent Hospital.
