Kota Kinabalu: Kuamut Assemblyman Datuk Masiung Banah (pic) proposed to the State and Federal Governments to give out voucher, instead of food basket, under the Covid-19 assistance for the needy group in Sabah. He said this would improve and enable fast distribution of the Government assistance to the target group. “If this proposal is suitable and acceptable as a new method, the recipient of the assistance will only need to exchange the voucher at the supermarkets or sundry shops to be appointed by the Government.
