Bayern Munich have dealt a blow to clubs interested in David Alaba.

The Austrian has rejected a contract extension with Bayern and will be a free agent next summer.

Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with the 28-year-old.

And according to Bild, Bayern are prepared to let Alaba leave for free rather than sell him in January.

The German giants are looking to go back-to-back in the Champions League, as well as retain the Bundesliga title.
