Leo Clubs bring food to Sabah underprivileged homes

Kota Kinabalu: Several Leo Clubs across Sabah have collaborated with the Lions Club International to initiate the “Dua Ringgit Project” which aims to bring food to extremely underprivileged households in Sabah. 

The project’s spokesperson, Bradley Keith Victor, said the project has touched some 250 families Statewide during the programme’s first phase which started on Oct 15 after collecting a generous donation of RM10,000 in five days. 

 “In Phase Two of our project,t which is ongoing, we aim to feed 1,000 underprivileged households by collecting RM 40,000 in donations,” he said, adding that the fund collection at press time is only at 25 per cent.
