Kota Kinabalu: Many Sabahan ex-trainers of the now defunct National Service Training Programme (PLKN), who mostly have eight to 14 years working experiences and skills, are still looking for a job since the programme was dissolved in Aug 2018. One of them even penned a letter to the media to ask for their plight be highlighted to the Government to take action and help provide jobs, so they will be able to make full use of their years of experience and skills. An ex-PLKN trainer in Tuaran said since the PLKN Programme was started in December 2003, it has opened up many job opportunities for university graduates, as well as those with STPM and SPM qualifications and even some former servicemen.
