Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz says he thought long and hard about leaving Bayer Leverkusen last season.
Havertz was attracting interest from across Europe, with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid among rivals to Chelsea for his signature.
But the Germany international explained to BILD: "A transfer like mine doesn't happen overnight.
"I had to think about all the options and things that are important to me.
"In short, I watched the Premier League a lot on TV and I knew Chelsea very well."
