Support letters needed, not MyKad, say cops

PAPAR: District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Ak Umpit (pic) said the purpose to request supporting letters from motorists at police roadblocks to comply, with the standard is Operating Procedure (SOP) during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period. 

He said police have set up three roadblocks in the district aimed at filtering vehicles involved in travelling between Papar and neighbouring districts such as Penampang. 

“Previously, guidelines were issued to ensure that the public will understand the SOP that they should adhere to during the CMCO period. This includes those who fall under essential service.
