Bobbey is nominated for senator

Kota Kinabalu: Majority of State Legislative Assembly on Wednesday agreed to support the nomination of Datuk Bobbey A. Suan (pic) as a Senator in the Dewan Negara. 

Speaker Datuk Kadzim M. Yahya who made the announcement said Bobbey received the support of 64 assembly members including from the opposition, while 14 were not present during the voting process.

He said the appointment of Bobbey as the new Senator is in accordance with the Federal Constitution

 Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor nominated Bobbey, while seconded by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.
