Kota Kinabalu: A Parti Warisan Sabah leader rejected claims by political analyst Azmi Hassan that Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) is “anti-Putrajaya” and will not be able to garner support in the peninsula.

Warisan Keningau Division Deputy Chief Basal Bullah said the party has never adopted an anti-Putrajaya stand, however it only disapproves political interference in the State Government by any political party or coalition that controls the Federal Government.

“I am surprised to note that a supposedly learned academician like Azmi has made such a simplistic analysis when in the first place, he should have spent some time examining Warisan President Shafie Apdal’s speeches which are readily available on YouTube.
