Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is expecting an entertaining derby today against Real Madrid.
The Argentine coach has stressed that Zinedine Zidane's team are a great blend of experienced veterans and young players in attack.
"[The derby] is a very beautiful game with fantastic players in both teams," Simeone said at the press conference prior the derby.
"Real Madrid have been competing for many years with players who hold up despite their age and they are also competing with young players up front and that is to be admired, no matter how much of a historical rival they are for us.
"We are going to take the game where we think we can hurt them."
After being criticised for their defeats to Cadiz and Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Madrid have bounced back with two victories against Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladbach and Simeone believes that their upcoming rivals have rediscovered good form.
"Real Madrid have improved in the last games," added Simeone.
"They had a good game in Seville, they have improved a lot defensively, they try to pressure in the rival's third, and then they return [to defence] to protect themselves and take advantage of their speed, especially if Vinicius and Rodrygo play.
"[There is] also Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio, who are different.
"We are seeing all that growth, especially in the last game.
"From the things that our rivals have shown us, will get the best that we believe can be good for us."
