Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has ducked claims of his team being title favourites.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has labelled Atletico as the title favourites, but Simeone avoided commenting on his counterpart's remarks.
"[Zidane] transmits security and confidence, as he was a winning footballer and he is a winning coach," Simeone replied ahead of today's derby.
"It is a privileged place for few and he has known how to stay put.
"I do not usually comment on the opinions of colleagues. Each one has an opinion formed and develops it as he understands it. I respect all opinions, whether positive or negative."
