Arsenal, Real Madrid and other interested clubs may have to be patient in their pursuit of RB Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai.
The creative midfielder is available for roughly £22 million, and his contract expires in June 2022.
According to the Athletic, the 20-year-old has many other clauses in his contract as well.
That means some clubs may not be willing to make the deal.
The issue is that a payment must be made for the full buyout clause within two weeks of the transfer's completion.
If Arsenal signed him in the winter, they would most certainly want to pay in instalments.
Given the COVID-19 related financial struggles of most clubs, a single payment may be tricky.
The same source reports Salzburg would want a 20 percent sell-on fee as well.
