‘Specify which Bumis are being referred to’

PUTATAN: Former Putatan MP Datuk Dr Marcus Mojigoh (pic) said the recent approval of 2021 Budget in Parliament failed to address overall needs and interests of Sabah and the people.

While expressing relief that majority of the MPs supported the budget, he said the national budget did not specify allocations and exact benefits for the people.

For instance, he noticed that the budget has reduced funding for the much-needed Pan Borneo Highway project for Sabah and Sarawak while allocating huge funding to several mega projects for the peninsula.
