Fiorentina have renegotiated their loan deal for Patrick Cutrone with Wolves.

The striker has been on an 18-month loan for €3m with the obligation to buy for a further €16m after 26 starts. But the permanent clause has now been removed.

“The obligation to buy clause has been mentioned several times, so I decided to remove it," agent Giovanni Branchini told TMW Radio.

“It is now a dry loan and has an option to buy that has already been fixed, but can be renegotiated. The loan is worth €3m, while the option to buy is €16m spread out over two years.

“It seems strange to me that a team struggling to score goals can't find room for Cutrone. The player is feeling downbeat, because you can't pretend not to understand what's going on.

“I am just sorry that Patrick hasn't been given the same chances as others to show what he can do."
