Manchester City are refusing to consider the sale of Eric Garcia in January.
Off contract in June, Garcia is pushing to return to former club Barcelona, with the Catalans eager to take him next month.
However, despite the prospect of losing him for nothing at the end of the season, Onda Cero says City will not considering selling in the coming weeks.
The decision has been made by City chief Ferran Soriano - with manager Pep Guardiola, in contrast, willing to accept Garcia's wish to return to Barca.
It was also Soriano who blocked Barca's attempts last summer to buy Garcia.
