Almere City striker Elias Sorensen says he knows Newcastle United are keeping tabs on his performance.
The Dane is on a season-long loan with the Eerste outfit.
"Newcastle have someone who keeps an eye on all the loan players. It's Shola Ameobi. He was definitely a great player, and it is good to have someone like him on your side," Sørensen told ELF Voetbal.
"He follows us really closely, he always calls and asks how it is going, and if you are having a hard time, you can also call him yourself.
"That is a good solution."
