Lucas named Sabah FC head coach

Kota Kinabalu: Lucas Kalang Laeng (pic) has been officially named by Sabah Football Club (SFC) as the new Rhinos head coach in the Super League next season.

The 66-year-old Sarawakian has been offered a one-year contract to replace Indonesian Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto, whose contract was not renewed after guiding the team to finish in 10th place at the end of the 2020 season.

Sabah Football Association (SFC) Director cum Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Verdon Bahanda made the announcement in a brief statement released on Monday.
