Scuba diving activities now allowed

Kota Kinabalu: Scuba diving activities in Sabah are allowed to resume now but subject to standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic), who is the State’s official Covid-19 spokesperson, said while diving is allowed, but transportation of divers to the diving site is subject to certain conditions or SOPs. 

“Diving activities can be carried out provided that the boat carrying the diver to the diving location does not exceed 30 per cent of the boat load to ensure there is physical imprisonment,” he said.
