Werder Bremen chief Frank Baumann says selling Milot Rashica in January cannot be ruled out.
A target for Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen, Rashica's future has been the subject of much speculation this year.
Baumann said: "He can stay, but we can also sell.
"If Milot is fit again at the end of January, he can play for a possible new club straight away.
"(His sale) has become difficult because of the injury."
