ESPN says Liverpool are 'closely' tracking Bissouma.
Bissouma is said to be a target for Jurgen Klopp should he lose Gini Wijnaldum on a free transfer in the summer.
Wijnaldum's contract is now running down and due to expire in June.
Brighton are said to value their prized asset at £30m with Monaco and Manchester United also keeping tabs.
