Arsenal technical director Edu would welcome Arsene Wenger back to the club.
The Gunners are mired in a crisis after their worst start to a season since 1959.
Some have called for Wenger to be brought back in advisory role to help steer the club from turmoil.
And whilst the decision is out of his hands, Edu says it would be good to have the legendary manager back at the Emirates.
'It would be unfair for me to say that, it is a level up from me," Edu told the Daily Mail. "But it is very simple, when you need strong people and a good character, I have nothing bad to say about Arsene so if he is around that would be good.
"Normally we need sometimes someone like him to talk. Sometimes I call people, Mikel calls good people for advice and it is always good to have big guys around you."
