X’mas visits limited to two hours under SOPs

Kota Kinabalu: House visits on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are restricted to not more than two hours.

These are among Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) imposed following the State Government’s decision to allow Christmas celebrations during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). 

State Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic) said Christians are allowed to perform prayer ceremonies on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 in areas under CMCO in accordance to stringent SOPs.

Among requirements is for health screening counters at the entrance with the purpose of limiting the number of congregation, to carry out body temperature and symptom screening for coughs, fever, shortness of breath and flu.
