Arsenal defender Zak Swanson is having his loan with MVV Maastricht cut short.
Jeorge Bird's Arsenal Youth website reports Swanson will return to Arsenal on Wednesday after his loan spell at MVV Maastricht was cut short.
The right-back was set to spend the whole season with the Dutch side but has been recalled after a frustrating spell during which he only featured three times.
Swanson has also been suffering with homesickness and is set to be part of the Arsenal U23 squad until January.
Gunners management could then send him on loan to an English club for the second-half of the season.
