Former Southampton captain Claus Lundekvam is convinced Manchester City are keen on Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian also believes Barcelona star Leo Messi will end up at City next season.
"I can see him (Haaland) playing for the biggest clubs in the world, absolutely. He's in such great shape, he's so direct and he's a world-class striker right now. Erling Haaland would be a certain asset for Manchester City," he told Stadium Astro.
"I'm sure Pep (Guardiola, City manager) looks at him and looks at Messi and any X-factor striker who can manage those chances.
"That's what they need."
