Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo hailed the manner of their victory Real Sociedad.
For many involved, Barca produced their best football of the season for the 2-1 win.
"There three points at home are important against a very tough opponent like La Real," Araujo said. "I'm happy with the win and with what the team showed, because of the character and will we had.
"We won against a very good team. We knew the importance of the game and that we had to win at all costs. We are Barcelona, we want to compete, we want to be on top. We're happy."
The Uruguayan started alongside Oscar Mingueza at the heart of the Catalans' defence and did well, with Clement Lenglet left on the bench.
"I played with him [Mingueza] at Barcelona B," Araujo said when asked of his defensive partner. "We're happy because we're two kids.
"The club is giving us opportunities and it went well."
