Parishioners wish speedy recovery to Fr Felix

Kota Kinabalu: A local priest from Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish  here has tested  positive  for Covid-19.

According to a Facebook (FB) post from Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish Kota Kinabalu , Fr Felix Chung (pic) who lives at Emmaus Home  situated within the compound of the cathedral, was tested positive with Covid-19 and one  church worker was exposed to him.

As preventive measure to avoid further transmission of the virus to others, SHC  decided to temporarily  close the Cathedral, the parish office, and the cathedral compound from all activities, including individual confessions for the next two weeks or until we are allowed to reopen again.
